Although not part of our original itinerary, we are very pleased to have been able to stay here for 3 nights and have a wonderfully relaxing time. The luxury of reliable electric lighting and hot water for showers cannot be overstated especially after having been 'up country'!! Lamin's food was excellent and you have found a star in him. Moses was a great 'guide' on our day out with him and it gave us a great feel for Gambian life. Finally, your attention to detail shows throughout the lodges and your friendly and thorough attitude made our stay just perfect. Thank you. Rosemary and Martin Donovan Dorset. England

I’m finding it hard to find the words to express just how much I have enjoyed my second visit to The Gambia and how immensely impressed I am with the lodges, the staff and Heather and Moses’ attention to detail. Although I have been ‘out and about’ and seen much more of The Gambia and its’ culture, I have also had the most relaxing and laziest 2 weeks of my life! Thank you.

Heather and Moses have filled my expectations of bird-watching in The Gambia.I have had a fun-filled day watching the banding (ringing) of birds by John and then a long boat trip and walk through the real Africa with Morgan who also really knows his birds very well. I wish Farakunku Lodges all the best for the future.
