Heather and Moses- you've successfully created an oasis of luxury and serenity - so different from the hustle and indifferent quality of hotels in the resorts. It's been so lovely enjoying your warm hospitality and the attentive service of your staff...especially wonderful was the 'cuisine'...much more than just food...thank you Lamin! All told, an experience to be repeated- many times I hope. Good luck and congratulations on your unique creation.

Great accommodation, warm showers, big bed and loads of space to move around in. Garden is lovely and looks great with a good plunge pool. Food by Lamin is 'to die for' and will make you want to come back. All the staff are very friendly and, along with Heather and Moses, make you feel part of their 'family'. This is a very special place and should not be missed.

Lovely stay at cosy and welcoming Farakunku Lodges after "roughing it" in West Africa for 3 months.Nothing better than a warm (and perfectly functioning!!) shower, a great meal accompanied by a cool glass of white wine, good talks and a perfect bed at the end of the day. Will definitely recommend Heather and Moses' hospitality and classy lodges, as well as Lamin's haute cuisine!!!

These are stunning lodges- located 'off the beaten track' with no attention to detail spared. The four poster beds are very comfortable and with lovely coordinated bed linen. Our lodge was light and airy and we were woken by bird song each morning. Lamin the cook provided us with excellent food each day...his presentation was a work of art and he took such pride in his cooking which ranged from delicious Fish Yassa at lunchtime to goujons of butterfish with garlic mayonnaise, cabbage and lentil bake, spiced kafta with yogurt dressing and many other delicacies on the evening menus. He has a wide repertoire and any particular favourites could be discussed and catered for. His smile and laughter were infectious. Meals are served in the open sided restaurant with pretty flowers, freshly picked from the beautiful gardens, to decorate the tables. Heather and Moses our hosts, were most welcoming. We're sure this new ... full
