After all of our adventures in The Gambia in the past few weeks, it was very nice to relax and end our holiday here in "our" lovely Palm Lodge. This place, and the hospitality and skill of the staff felt like a warm bath and in fact we got our first hot shower ever, in Africa, at Farakunku Lodges!
Lamin...your dinners are lovely, you make cuisine of everything. Moses...it was very nice to go to Brikama with you and have lunch with your family. I think you are and will be a very pleasant very Gambian host. Heather...your professional and at the same time warm approach make this place really something else...something really good.

It was a great pleasure to be the very first guests in Farakunku Lodges. The gate opened and we entered a green, lovely and wonderful little paradise. We enjoyed the family atmosphere with our hosts Heather and Moses and the staff.We made the best choice to spend the last days of our travels through Senegal and The Gambia at this nice place. Thanks a lot.

The best vegetarian food in The Gambia! Farakunku Lodges are 5-star accommodation with hot showers, friendly hosts and staff. Highly recommended.

Tonight 10 guests had a truly wonderful evening with Heather and Moses. Many of us had not met before but the intimate surroundings and excellent food made the evening unforgettable. We are all looking forward to returning to enjoy your hospitality again.
